I've developed a MQL5 EA, and it works as expected and generates a decent profit on GBPUSD 30M for the year of 2011. The problem is however, the EA is PC resource intensive. Back testing on 'Open Prices Only' is fine, but using 'Every Tick' means it takes over an hour to complete one run!
I could probably reconfigure/amend the code to optimise the performance myself, but not before potentially studying a bunch of other websites, articles, books and other EAs. So in order to try and save me some time, I'm after benefiting primarily from somebody else's knowledge and and secondly their time. Ideally it would be a fair swap, I pass over a profitable EA to a developer who enhances its resource performance (whilst maintaining its profitability) and I get a free lesson in writing efficient code.
The program I've written has a lot of comments in and is well structured in its layout. Hence, it should be relatively easy for a developer to follow and understand the logic. I would ask that the developer is able to explain changes made, adds notes to lines of code and that a single backtest run is able to complete in single figure minutes (<10min).
I'm not in a major rush for the EA to be fixed, I can work to a realistic time frame (1-3 week say). FYI: I'm not always able to get online daily, which is frustrating, so bear with me if responses are slow.
Attached is the .mq5 file (EA needs the class and customer indicator to run) to give a flavour of the coding style used.
