Invented and implemented ZZ for ticks overnight in Python :) What's new with you guys?

One setting only. Below are two options with a setting of 50 and 25.

Why invent and implement something that has already been invented and implemented 100 times???

That there is no zigzag in Python?

That Python doesn't have a zigzag?
You write a zigzag formula for chat. And you're like a do-it-yourselfer.)

Maxim Dmitrievsky #:
You write the zigzag formula to the chat room. And you kind of did it yourself.

Yeah, yeah, I get that, but why?

Isn't there a ready-made one?

If you like to pick your guts and write 500 lines of code to sum up A+B, then keep sitting on µl, why write on a high-level language?

And write 100 times already written from scratch, instead of calling from one code and doing something more profound.

mytarmailS #:

Well, yeah, that's understandable, but why?

Isn't there an off-the-shelf one?

If you like to pick your guts and write 500 lines of code to sum up A+B, then keep sitting on µl, why write in a high-level language?

And write 100 times already written from scratch, instead of calling from one code and doing something more profound.

There's not enough code in there to zig-zag it.

Maxim Dmitrievsky #:
There's not enough of this zig-zag code in there.

Well, the poor guy writes that he's been writing all night.))

Maxim Dmitrievsky #:

Tick quantisation?

Anything.

Maxim Dmitrievsky #:
I tried to put neovim on mac. Such pornography, vscode is better

Radical change of interface is an idea for those who like to suffer :)))))

Maxim Dmitrievsky #:
I'm still writing my biblical library, because I have a lot of algorithms accumulated, I decided to divide functions by libraries to use as a constructor later.

I have similar problems, but it happens that a function needs to be slightly changed - and to make a separate function in the library for this purpose or overload with settings - well, not so much.... so I always look for compromises.

Specific tasks require specific tools. Isn't it surprising that surgeons sometimes make their own tools? It's the same here. You don't find what you need (maybe you didn't look hard enough) and make your own.

Maxim Dmitrievsky #:
You write the zigzag formula to Chat. And then you do it yourself.)

Is there such a formula?

Maxim Dmitrievsky #:
There's not a lot of code in that zig-zag.

Yes, there's not much code. But this time ChatGPT didn't cope at all - though it shouted that it liked the algorithm very much - sycophant!

mytarmailS #:

Did I write about suffering? Keep your projections to yourself.
