DDE (?) links to Excel
You can't do that over DDE (or I haven't find a way). I did it with MQL4 --> C++ --> C# --> Excel connection :) but, you'll have a lot of sex with passing data from MQL4 and C++. I used C++ for connection with MT and C# for creating Excel spread sheet's, you can find examples of that all over the net...
i've seen someone seeling software that does this for around $400

Trying to get currency pair data in so that I can do risk calcs quicker rather than having to input teh values all the time
What sort of data, and what sort of risk calcs? Presumably order data, rather than the price example given in MetaTrader's DDE-Sample.xls example...
