Asian Markets Trading on a Lower Note, Gold Back Below $1,270

All the major Asian indices are trading on a lower note on Friday and on the other side, Yen fails to fall below 106 marks and trading around 107.15 marks. Overnight, gold hits high at $1272 marks but fails to break key resistance at $1272 marks.

Chinese markets will remain close for two days in observance of the Dragon Boat Festival.

Japan’s Nikkei 225 was trading 0.86% lower at 16,524.53 points in Tokyo. South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.45% lower at 2,015.17 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.98% lower at 5,309.80 points.

India’s BSE Sensex was trading 0.19% lower at 26,712.99 and NSE Nifty was down by 0.11% to 8,194.10 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.70% lower at 21,149 points.
