Today is 03/05/2012 and downloading the history from the MetaQuotes server (using the Tools/History/Download menu) gives me the very last file for USDCHF as:
USDCHF_2012_01_3a3be44c55e2e9a1bfe5f7187980a8d1.dat
I did the same in the beginning of Febr. this year. That time I could download the same file as the last one.
On some topics I have read that MQ refreshes the available data more often. My question is why I can not download more fresh data than the above mentioned file?
Extracting the downloaded files gives me the last tick as 01/13/2012 for all periods. I have later ticks available, but they were downloaded from the broker... and there is a gap between the two series.
Other question is, what are the major currency pairs available on MQ server for download. The NZDCAD is not that, I got the error message as "There is no new data for a symbol 'NZDCAD'"
Can anybody help on these isssues?
