Is your MT4 slow or does it hang alot?
This is why..
MT4 and MT5 tend to store temporary data on the RAM and uses the computer chips for computation..
This is what you can do to alievate the problem temporarily
1. Reduce the number of bars stored on the chart and in history. Go to tools--charts---max bars in history
2.Update your internet explorer.
3.Use a light antivirus. I recommend NOD32. Symantech slows the computer alot.
4. Use a different laptop for regular work
Long term ..consider hardware upgrades
Get a computer with at least
4GB RAM
4GB Graphics RAM
Core i7 with multithreading
