Using Japanese Candlestick Patterns in Profitable Pattern Scanner

Take Profit and Stop Loss in Profitable Pattern Scanner

Profitable Pattern Scanner is also using the risk management concept with Pattern Completion Interval for your trading. Must remember that trading without having good reward/Risk ratio is useless. They can blow your account pretty quickly. Please make sure that you understand the role of Pattern Completion Interval and how it can help for your trading.

In Profitable Pattern Scanner, your stop loss and take profit is controlled for individual patterns. This is the main difference from Harmonic Pattern Plus and Harmonic Pattern Scenario Planner. Support and Resistance with Elliott Wave Trend

Elliott Wave Trend produces its own support and resistance automatically for your trading. These are not ordinary support and resistance but projecting the location of superimposed wave patterns.

The produced support and resistance are very accurate. By clicking the box, you can extend or reverse the support and resistance zone in your chart.

For your information, the support and resistance zone can be used on their own. Typically you will use the latest support and resistance in your trading decision.

This is most basic use of these support and resistance. However, you can also use these support and resistance combined with your actual Elliott Wave counting. You can use the support and resistance to gauge the turning point and breakout using your Elliott Wave counting.

Showing Historical Patterns in Profitable Pattern Scanner

In trading, you get your profits as good as your tools and knowledge. To understand and to test your strategy, simply increase bars to scan to some higher number like 5000 or 10,000. If you leave Bars to Scan = 10,000, etc, this would be too heavy for your MetaTrader. For your live trading, set Bars to Scan = 250 or as small as possible. Since live trading results and historical signals are the same, you will not get lost anything even if you set Bars to Scan = 250 or other reasonably small number.

Powerful Use of Potential Continuation Zone with Harmonic Patterns

Potential Continuation Zone was introduced first in the book: Guide to Precision Harmonic Pattern Trading: Mastering Turning Point Strategy for Financial Trading by Young Ho Seo. Here we will show you how to improve your Harmonic trading marginally using this powerful PCZ concept.

As it was shown in the book, good harmonic patterns for your trading have a well balanced Potential Continuation Zone and Potential Reversal Zone. Typically harmonic patterns with good spread of PCZ levels will help your trading immensely. In this technique, you will be looking at those harmonic patterns in higher timeframe first. Then lock the pattern in your chart. Now change your timeframe to lower like M30 or H1 or H4, etc.

You will wait for the formation of Harmonic pattern near the PCZ level of higher timeframe. Once you have found the harmonic pattern near PCZ level, then there is potential entry for you. You will be triggered when the price crosses the PCZ level and you will trade in the direction of Harmonic pattern in lower timeframe.
