Since the strategy works with small average profits it is highly suggested to trade with a low spread and commission broker. Trading costs are crucial here!

The backtests shown in the screenshots were done with the default settings. There might be better or worse settings. Please download the free demo to do your own testing.

This EA does not use any martingale and/or grid functionalities. Still the tests shown below were done with a 5% risk per trade which can not be considered as "low risk". Buy Trades: Enables the EA to place buy orders

Sell Trades: Enables the EA to place sell orders

Timeframe: The candle timeframe used to identify the highs and lows

BarsN: Sensitivity of the high and low algorithm (smaller value = more highs and lows, greater value = less highs and lows)

Order Puffer Points: The order distance from the high/low

<Trade Settings>

Trading Volume: Mode for the calculation of the lot size for each trade

Fixed Lots: Lot size for each trade if the fixed trading volume mode is chosen

Risk Percentage of Balance: The lot size for each trade will be calculated so that the set percentage of your account will be lost if the inital SL is triggered

TP Points: The distance form the entry order price to the TP

SL Points: The distance form the entry order price to the SL

Hi Rene, I waited before giving my review and put a lot of work into backtesting and setting with Pepperstone razor account (similar to your recommended broker), I am running this EA on MT5 on JPY and EUR as recommended. I use 2H TF x 1% on each and 4H TF x 1.5% on each, these risk parameters give DD's of about 10% max each. I widened the TSL TP SL on each till I found a nice profitable Win / loss ratio. AV 75%W and 25%L. I can get my REAL TICK data back to JULY 21' with 100% acc off Pepper MT5 without importing external data. So far in the last month my live trading is matching my backtest results. My super power is the Tradersync program which allows the MT5 Stategy Test Report to be migrated into it and for me to analize results in a great visual setting and merge my 4 reports into one. Congrats Rene on creating a simple and great customisable EA which allows a trader get back from the work they put in. Now I can analyse live trading results every 3-6 months and tweak settings for the current market conditions. THX Mark G

Quiero hacer una revisión muy consciente del servicio, he notado que últimamente en tus videos enfocas a decir, la forma de hacer dinero en esto es programar y vender tus productos. Estaba encantado de haber encontrado un desarrollador de MQL5 sincero y con productos a la vista, pero cuando has empezado a decir esto: (allí es donde está el dinero, vender productos y no hacer trading) siento que lo dices con sinceridad y lo agradezco, pero quienes vemos potencial en tus productos nos vemos defraudados por la simple razón que ahora harás productos enfocados en tener buenos backtesting, hacer que los compren, decir: Haz tus propios backtesting y lavarse las manos como "pilatos" ahí es donde me he defraudado. Ahora, hablemos de este EA: he realizado muchos backtesting con este producto y he probado en real con malos resultados. Siento que se perdió tu esencia de ofrecer un producto de calidad. Después de varios meses probando el EA solo entro en pérdidas, he probado las configuraciones por default y no obtengo ni si quiera los resultados que el backtest ofrece. Debo aclarar que estoy tratando de copiar sus mismas configuraciones, uso tambien IC Markets y mismas condiciones, con un VPS con muy buenos recursos y ubicado en N.Y para disminuir latencia con el servidor del broker. Aun así: He definido que: 1. El robot hace dinero, pero cuando llega el SL pierde al menos lo que logró hacer con 10 operaciones, y esto pueden verlo todos incluso en tu señal. 2. Las comisiones por tener órdenes pendientes en USDJPY y EURUSD al final se terminarán comiendo las ganancias. Ejemplo: Un trade de 10 USD de profit al menos se van 30% en comisión (3 USD) y lo peor es que tambien aplica comisión negativa en las posiciones perdedoras. 3. That is why I can never promise/guarantee trading profits. In my opinion it is highly dubious to do so. This is the reason why I am asking potential buyers to do their own testing/thinking. I am not better than you or anyone and we all have the same resources to evaluate a strategy. I know that this might be disappointing but it is the only honest answer I can give to you. I will try to answer your questions/requests now: It is true that the testing results are better than the live results. This is common for breakout strategies since slippage cannot be displayed perfectly in the tester. Please have a look at my YouTube channel to learn more about this. I try to be really honest with everything. This will result in a lot of small winning and some big losing trades. If you want to change this you can change the inputs. It is true that the trading costs are high (due to the big position size). Time will show if this will eat up all the profits. This is something that I cannot predict at the moment since I cannot see the future. I back tested the demo version and all was great; steadily rising equity curves. It worked on different Forex pairs, gold etc. And it worked well over a 10 year time period! So, I purchased Scalping Project EA and the results were disappointing. When I back tested the paid version, the results were different (in a negative sense that is). For me there is no doubt, the demo version is different from the live/paid version. Avoid this EA like the plague. I used Ticklstory /Ducksopy data. 500m/s delay, Real tics and complete slow algorithm. I used fixed volume both for trading and back testing. For live trading I used ICmarkets and forexVPS.net. Trading and tests were all done on one and two hour time frames. So it has nothing to do wit my settings, used data, broker etc.

I find this strategy too risky and broker dependent. You get a good set of winners, but then one loss can wipe out all your winnings, risk-reward ratio must be 1:1 or better can be 0.5:1 in exceptional cases but here the result does not match even if he is 85 % hit rate, he only achieves this because he sets Tralling Stop Losses, which are almost always hit. The risk ratio here is sometimes 10:1 which means we need 10 winning trades to make up for the loss from a single losing trade and yes it's not my setup I've tried different ones. This strategy can't be profitable the backtest results are a joke they can never be reached because the author has optimized the EA for the past. So it can be said that the EA works in the simulation but not in the real money account. This is unfortunately the case with many EAs here on MQL5. Don't be fooled by the results.

Hey, thanks for the review. In the settings you can always change the risk reward ratio and also define the TSL that you want to use. Feel free to play around with these settings to find the settings you feel comfortable with. If your broker is not suitable for scalping strategies you might want to try a bigger TSL distance or maybe do not use the TSL at all.

Hey, please use the strategy tester to find settings that you feel comfortable with. It also helps to get a good feeling for the strategy. I do not know what settings will be best in the future. Also if you use a really expensive broker (high commission, big spreads) this has a huge negative impact on the performance of the EA. Make sure to use a broker that has low trading fees.

At this market situation I do not recommend this EA, I give this ea 2 star for the transparency of the code and the yt videos,scalping break throughs is a trading strategy, but not a good one...

Risk with a breakout strategy is that is picks up the trade and directly reverses. SL was hit couple of times and I’m questing if the SL is too tight... But on the other hand if you give the SL more room the losses are huge. I will stop the EA for now. results after 3 weeks is negative unfortunately.

Hello Rene and thank you for your EA. Having a capital of 2000€, I preferred to put only 2% risk per trade. For the moment I am satisfied with your expert, however I am using ICMarkets on a vps server and I am encountering a fairly high latency, I hope this will have no negative consequences on trades, or on the reactivity of stop losses . Anyway, I was looking for a non-martingal EA that works well, thanks for that. Ah yes, one last thing, thank you for your tutorials on youtube ;) Have a good day.

Hey, thank you for the kind review :) Personally I do not think the latency will have too much of an impact on the strategy since it works with pending orders for entry and exit :)

Hi RENE. and hello everyone. I would like to leave this comment because you really deserve it. I started following you and getting to know you through youtube videos. And you're a nice person, you explain everything in detail without filters as if you were explaining live, you start thinking while writing the EAs, and this makes the video even more fascinating. EXCELLENT.
