Binlerce yıl önce, eski Mısırlılar topraklarını ölçmek ve mallarını tartmak için kullandıkları bir sayma sistemi icat ettiler. Bu sistem " Horus'un Gözü " olarak biliniyordu.

Horus'un Gözü, tanrı Osiris efsanesiyle ilişkilendirildi ve firavunların kutsal sembollerinden biri oldu.
