I am a small time trader in financial markets - stocks, currencies and commodities. I have been trading in markets for quite a while. I have quit trading in 2009 and now returned to trade actively. I believe in making money than having notional profits and following some fancy theory. I do scalping most of the time and take overnight positions only if I am convinced of the market's direction.
Prediction of the target prices or the likely directions is not an interest to me. In markets, one should make profits. That alone is the right path according to me. I take smaller profits on multiple trades. At the end of the day if I made profits then I am right, else I am wrong.
