ANNOUNCEMENT
Reference is made to the Company's announcement dated 4 November 2018 (the
"Announcement") in relation to the capital increase by Gang Hang Development, and
contribution by China Merchants Liaoning, in the share capital of Gang Hang Development
(the "Capital Increase"). Unless the context otherwise requires, the capitalised terms used
herein shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Announcement.
On 30 November 2018, the Company received from PDA, a controlling shareholder of
the Company, the Notice of Completion of Capital Increase and Change of Name of the
Controlling Shareholder. According to the notice, on 29 November 2018, Gang Hang
Development had completed changes in industrial and commercial registration relating to
the Capital Increase, with its registered share capital increased to RMB199,600,798.40, and
Liaoning SASAC and China Merchants Liaoning respectively hold 50.1% and 49.9% of the
equity interest in Gang Hang Development. On the same day, Gang Hang Development
completed the registration of change in its company name to Liaoning Port Group
Limited* () ("Liaoning Port Group").

After the above changes in the shareholding structure of Liaoning Port Group, the
controlling shareholder and de facto controller of the Company have not changed and
will continue to be PDA and Liaoning SASAC, respectively. Such changes in shareholding
structure will not lead to changes in the Company's principal business, nor will it have
substantial impact on the Company's normal operational activities.

Crude declines more as US inventories rise...Prices of oil at ICE Futures Europe fell to session lows on Wednesday following a statistical report from the Department of Energy of the United States which showed domestic refineries boosted the use of capacity to 95.6% from 92.7% in the week through November 23. Commercial inventories landed 3.6 million barrels higher, at 450.5 million, which is 7% above the five-year average on a seasonal basis. Statistics revealed fuel production and imports of crude increased.
Gasoline in stock decreased by 0.8 million barrels, remaining strongly higher than average, while reserves of distillates gained 2.6 million, advancing to 6% under the benchmark trend line.
West Texas Intermediate for delivery in January traded 0.56% in the red at 4:42 pm CET, changing hands for $51.27 per barrel, after dropping to $50.62, close to a 13-month low. Brent oil for settlement also in the said month lost 1.2% to $59.49 for one barrel. Earlier it touched $59.04.

CVS, Aetna $69 billion merger finalized...CVS Health Corporation's $69 billion acquisition of health insurer Aetna Inc. was finalized on Wednesday, nearly a year after the two companies announced the deal last December. CVS plans on testing stores with added health services early next year.
Back in October, the United States Department of Justice approved the acquisition, requiring Aetna to divest its Medicare Part D business before merging with CVS. The two companies struck the merger agreement in December 2017 and their shareholders approved the proposed merger in March.
Shares of CVS gained 0.93% to $80.26 per share at 5:04 pm CET following news of the closed merger.

Trump praises Steel Dynamics for job creation...United States President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Wednesday to praise the Indiana steel producer Steel Dynamics for its move to increase its steel production by constructing new mills and creating more domestic jobs.
Trump tweeted: "Steel Dynamics announced that it will build a brand new 3 million ton steel mill in the Southwest that will create 600 good-paying U.S. JOBS. Steel JOBS are coming back to America, just like I predicted. Congratulations to Steel Dynamics!"
On Tuesday, Steel Dynamics said it will invest around $1.8 billion to build "a new state-of-the-art, electric-arc-furnace (EAF) flat roll steel mill in the United States." The construction of new mills is expected to begin in 2020 while the completion date is set for the second half of 2021.

Conte: Budget review to allow spending target cut...Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte (pictured) said on Wednesday that the cabinet would do "everything" in its power to come to terms with the European Commission. Speaking to reporters at his residence in Rome, he however stuck with what was devised for the budget and claimed no "radical" shifts are in the pipeline. The government in Rome is conducting a review of expenditures outlined in the bill and adjustment should be made possible, Conte asserted.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Luigi Di Maio stressed promises to voters can't be betrayed and warned about what he said were forces who want to divide the two ruling parties. He is the leader of senior partner Five Star Movement, or M5S. The competition with the Northern League is "healthy and fair," Di Maio added. He stated Italy still wants dialogue with the European Union in order to find a solution.

Europe closes mixed ahead of G20 summit...European equities closed mixed on Wednesday as investors await the start of the G20 summit in Buenos Aires later this week. The high-stakes meeting between United States President Donald Trump and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in the Argentine capital could bring an end to trade war fears as the American leader's chief economic adviser Larry Kudlow said there is "a good possibility" of a trade deal being negotiated at the summit.

Europe ends higher after Wall Street rebounds at open...European markets closed with gains on Wednesday after US stocks recovered from yesterday's sharp losses during early trading. Apple Inc. led yesterdays selloff, trading over 5.1% in the red at session's low. Meanwhile, the European Union rejected Italy's budget proposal and the European Commission announced that an excessive debt procedure should be adopted against Rome, since its budget poses a serious non-compliance risk.
The FTSE 100 closed 1.56% in the green. The best performer was Johnson Matthey Plc. surging 14.15%. The DAX ended 1.71% higher led by Covestro AG gains of 5.47%. The CAC 40 advanced 1.08% at market close with STMicroelectronics closing up 4.84%.
The euro traded 0.24% higher against the dollar to change hands for 1.1395 at 5:31 pm CET.

WTI jumps 4% despite rise in US stockpiles...Oil prices continued to recover on Wednesday from the sharp losses suffered during the previous session. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) surged 4% despite the latest report by the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), which showed another increase in the country's oil inventories.
Crude futures plunged 7% on Tuesday fueled by the global stock selloff, as well as by concerns that OPEC and other major producers could cut their production. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump thanked Saudi Arabia for the decline in crude prices, but added he wants to see them go even lower.
WTI for deliveries in January jumped 3.87% to sell for $55.43 per barrel at 5:49 pm CET and international benchmark Brent for January delivery climbed 2.41% to go for $64.02 per barrel at 5:50 pm CET. Oil prices are still down over 4% for the week and have tumbled over 20% in the past month.
