I rented it for 1 month and its a good thing. Its good that I used it on demo accounts. At around 8 in the morning I got push notifications from 2 MT5 installations that because of reaching the limit, all trades were closed and the trading windows also closed. I only checked my phone at 9. When I looked at the screen I saw 2 live trades. 1 was closed due to its stop loss, 2 more were live. This did not close any trade, there was an error for closing 1 trade in the journal, it did not check for the error, that the trade was still live and not closed, but still went on to close the trading windows and stop algotrading. I stopped 2 more trades manually. Similar situation with another account. Does not work for what it is made for. Needs some updates or something.

Flakey software and not suitable for the purpose of protecting your account. The maximum watermark resets itself even after you override the value and as soon as an event is triggered your profiles are wiped out! This means that you need to restore from a backup profile copy. Chances are you will need this once this EA bombs the profile. Friday close is also not working as expected, even after changing time.

Hello. As said in the support ticket, if you run the Guardian and the Copier in the same account, you must set "Stop EAs" to FALSE in the Guardian inputs. Else, the Guardian will close the Copier EA, disabling the very EA that has to instruct the slave accounts to close the trades. Other option is to run the Guardian in the slave accounts. Thank you.

Hello. Correct. The EA uses the highest equity achieved, or trailing equity. I have an EA called "Balance Guardian EA", which uses the balance instead of the trailing equity. That is the one you should be using if you wanted to use balance instead of trailing equity. Plus that one is free. Thanks.
