Some of the investment techniques non this platform have not changed since 1929. As if frozen by time . No attempt is made to study what Blackrock and Vanguard let alone Goldman Sachs actually do . This is my world ; and I hope to pass my hard work down before I shuffle off my mortal coil . Margin and growth are like a fund's report card, showing how well it's doing over time. A good margin means the fund is making money efficiently. Consistent growth shows the fund is steadily increasing its assets and profits.A fully hedged fund uses strategies to protect itself from big market dips. So, the drawdown, or the largest drop in value, becomes less important because the fund's protection measures should minimise this drop.Perpetual cash flow funds are built for the long run. So, the focus should be on measures like margin and growth that show long-term success, rather than drawdowns, which are short-term dips.Finally, when a fund shows a good margin and steady growth, it's like a vote of confidence for investors. It reassures them that the fund is doing well and will likely continue to do so. Drawdowns might worry investors, but in a fully hedged fund, the protections in place should limit these risks.
