Suppose that you have a situation when a part of open trades shows profit during trading, and a part shows a loss.
There are two solutions to this situation:
1) We can wait when all positions reach their target levels.
2) We can close positions with a summary profit. Thus, the sum of profitable trades is greater than the sum of unprofitable ones, and we will get the total profit.
In this case, I choose the second way to close all the trades simultaneously. EURUSD and EURJPY have reached their target TP3 level, and we can safely make a total profit.
In what other case is it the right decision to close the total profit? You have several open positions that have been in the market for quite a long time. At the same time, you know that important news is coming out soon, which can have a strong impact on the market. In this case, you can close positions and wait for price jumps during the news release. And re-enter the market after the market has become more relaxed.
