After running several EAs, one thing became obvious:
The strategy isn’t the real problem.
What matters more is:
• Drawdown control
• Knowing when to stop
• Risk management beyond the system
Once those were handled properly, performance became much more stable.
So the real question is:
Is your edge in the strategy… or in how you manage it?
