L'indicatore Fractals è uno degli elementi della strategia di trading dell'autore di Bill Williams. Viene utilizzato per cercare i punti di inversione del prezzo sul grafico dei prezzi e, di conseguenza, i livelli di supporto e resistenza.

L'indicatore Full Fractals è un Fractals migliorato che è disponibile nel toolkit di quasi tutti i terminali di trading. La sua unica differenza è che per costruire un frattale usiamo 5 candele a sinistra e 2 a destra della candela principale (guarda Figura 1). Oltre alle costruzioni di base, Full Fractals cerca livelli in cui il prezzo si è fermato da tempo.

Cosa mostra l'indicatore Full Fractals.

  • I frattali vengono visualizzati sul grafico dei prezzi come frecce su e giù su una candela chiave. Sulla base di questi punti puoi costruire liberamente livelli di supporto e resistenza.
  • L'indicatore disegna i livelli sul grafico nel punto in cui c'erano diversi frattali approssimativamente allo stesso livello. Questi livelli sono livelli forti che possono essere scambiati liberamente per un rimbalzo o un breakout e ripetere il test dello stesso livello (guarda Figura 3).

Come nella strategia di Bill Williams, l'indicatore Full Fractals non può essere un vero e proprio sistema di trading ma come base o in aggiunta ad altri indicatori è possibile sviluppare una vera e propria strategia di trading.

Consiglio di utilizzare l'indicatore come parte del sistema di trading Owl Smart Levels. Il sistema di trading include i principi di base del trading su una tendenza globale e 3 semplici indicatori che sono stati testati per un secolo.

L'indicatore è altrettanto ben applicabile sia nel mercato Forex che nel mercato azionario. Inoltre, funziona perfettamente sui mercati delle materie prime e sugli indici.  Anche in un mercato delle criptovalute abbastanza giovane l'indicatore si onora perfettamente e fornisce una chiara comprensione della fase di mercato.

Impostazioni dell'indicatore Full Fractals.

  1. Candles on the left - determina il numero di barre a sinistra per costruire un frattale
  2. Candles on the right - determina il numero di barre a destra per costruire un frattale
  3. Support and resistance levels - abilitare la visualizzazione delle linee di supporto e resistenza sul grafico
  4. Continuation of lines (bars) – il numero di candele di quanto estendere le linee a destra del frattale estremo
