so if Stocastic condition is met on 1 timeframe it will give alert?

If all other conditions are met too it will show BUY/SELL alert.

Ichimoku Dashboard will check in following way:

For BUY:

* If price above at least min distance from Kumo Cloud

* If "Check Tenkan Kijun Cross" true and Tenkan at least min distance above Kijun

* If "Check Chikou Cloud Distance" true and Chikou at least min distance away from Cloud

* If "Check Support/Resistance" true and price at least min distance away from Resistance

* If "Use Stochastic" true and price within safe Stochastic Overbought/Oversold

    * If "Only when Overbought/Sold and back" true then also check if price was Oversold and back in previous bar.

* If "Use Awesome Oscillator" true then check Awesome is above and Green.

If all above conditions are met, you will get a BUY Signal. Same for SELL but vice-versa

So based on your strategy you can keep above conditions true/false.

But since this is Ichimoku strategy, at the basis, it will always check if price above/below Kumo cloud.

Everything else is optional.

If you just want Stochastic and Kumo Cloud check, then keep everything else false (like TK, chikou, awesome, SR Checks).

Hi, I sent you an email with the indicator and S/R Calculations.

But just for reference, here are the S/R Rules

S/R Calculation:

If "Check Support/Resistance" true

For BUY Check price distance from Resistance. And for SELL check price distance from Support. Using the "Min Distance From S/R" values. (Price should be at least Min Dist away)

If safe to trade, show a White diamond in the BUY/SELL buttons. Else show a black diamond.

So, if your timeframes are M5,M15,M30 and the "Min Distance From S/R" values are 10,20,30.

Then for BUY for M5, check if price is at least 10 points away from Resistance.

(e.g. for EURUSD if resistance is at 1.10050, then price should be at least below 1.10040).

If "Only Alerts When Safe S/R" true get Alerts for only Safe trades.

Ignore alerts for other trades where price too close to Resistance (for BUY) or Support (for SELL).

(Note: Only alerts ignored. BUY/SELL buttons will still light up with black/white diamonds. Based on rules #21)

Here are all the extras for this Dashboard:

https://abiroid.com/extras/ichimoku-scanner-dashboard-extras

The dash uses the nearest Support/Resistance lines generated by: SS_SupportResistance_v07.53 (all default settings).

You can understand the Ichimoku basics here:

https://tradingstrategyguides.com/best-ichimoku-strategy/

The default dashboard setting uses this strategy. You can experiment with the Tenkan&Kijun min distance values, Chikou on/off, Stochastic or Awesome on/off, S/R on/off, etc.

But it all really depends on your Ichimoku strategy. Hit me up in PM, and we can talk about your strategy and I can give you pointers on the dashboard settings that go with it.

Thank you Abir so much for your replies!

I will have to come back to stochastic filter later... this is a really excellent indicator for Ichimoku traders to see everything in one dashboard,

but I found this bug I think: at the moment I'm just using the scanner dashboard with the price above/under Kumo logic, my own pairs list, and Timeframes H4,D1,W1, with all other checks 'False'...

I have "Alert of BUY/SELL signal" = true   &   I have "Force align check for BUY/SELL" = true   &   Alert on Trend Align" = false   &   "Check TimeFrames for align" = H4,D1

The problem is although it correctly identifies and gives alert signal, it gives an alert message for each timeframe in the checklist at the same time, rather than one alert when the lowest timeframe (H4 in my case) changes into agreement.

So I am getting 3 alerts at the same time for when a pair, which is rather too many! My logic is that if "Check Timeframes for align" are in agreement then the alert should be given for the smallest Tf only.

Would it be possible to fix this bug please??    ("Alert on Trend Align" makes no difference true or false to the number of alerts coming at the same time.)

Actually all alerts will only be there for your main timeframes.

So if you are only trading M15. Then set just M15 on main timeframes. And set alignment timeframes to M30, H1 etc. Then you'll only get 1 alert.

But if you use M15, M30 for your main TFs then when all HTFs align with main M15... You'll get alert for M15 aligning your HTF. When M30 aligns with HTF, you get alert for M30 as well.

To get single alert, just make sure main TF list has the TF you want the check for.
I can't program the check to only give alert for lowest TF. Because if someone is using M15, M30 as main timeframes. And H1, H4 as align Check HTF.. Then they want different alerts for when M15 aligns and then M30 aligns with higher TFs.

So it's not really a bug. Hope it clarifies things :)

Ah I see, that's great, thanks for explaining that to me!

I will use one instance as an alerter and another instance for a visual reference, kind of along the lines I was thinking already, since the possibilities of this dashboard are really extensive and complex to get all manner of really specific signals. That's fantastic, to get the actable signals tailored to my specific trading, as well as see the market at a glance according to longer term views.

Hello Abir, I have purchased it. Is there any additional settings that need modification that I can do to get better results in shorter time frame - M15 and M5. Please suggest.

The default settings should work nicely. You can experiment with the different Min distances based on your strategy. Keep smaller distances if you are scalping.
I think for shorter timeframes you need to be careful about price being near support or resistance.

So you can try the SR indicator in the extras here.:
https://abiroid.com/extras/ichimoku-scanner-dashboard-extras

Experiment with stochastic settings if that is part of your ichimoku strategy.

Contact me in PM about basic strategy.. And maybe I can help out more.
But definitely use support resistance. Because ichimoku is a trend indicator.. And price might reverse near SR. So keeping an eye on SR lines will be very helpful.

How can I setup the scanner, so it gives me an alert if candle cross and close above/under kumo cloud? and disregard all the other filters. I put false on all the extra filters, but I havent gotten an alert when the regular candle cross the cloud and close above it. I have the shift on 0. Price just crossed the cloud on the 1 Minute chart but no popup alert came.

Hi,

Can you send me a screenshot of your settings in a PM?

Make sure everything is false, but "Alert on BUY/SELL Signal" is true.

Without it you won't see any Alerts. Only Red/Green BUY/SELL Signals on Dashboard.

Hi @Abir Pathak,  I am using M30, H1, H4 Timeframes only. Can you please let me know best optimized values for below settings -
1. Min. Price-Cloud Distance
2. Min Tenkan Kijun Distance
3. Min. Chikou Distance

For M15,M30,H1,H4 try values like:

40,80,160,320

But, these can sometimes be too restrictive. And might limit the signals.

You can also try lower values: 30,60,120,240. This will be less restrictive.

Hi,

Glad you got it installed :)

Just select All 28 pairs from the drop-down if you just need the 28:

Here's the list for your reference:

AUDCAD,AUDCHF,AUDJPY,AUDNZD,AUDUSD,CADCHF,CADJPY,CHFJPY,EURAUD,EURCAD,EURCHF,EURGBP,EURJPY,EURNZD,EURUSD,GBPAUD,GBPCAD,GBPCHF,GBPJPY,GBPNZD,GBPUSD,NZDCAD,NZDCHF,NZDJPY,NZDUSD,USDCAD,USDCHF,USDJPY

Max number of characters allowed in a Property Input String is 255 in Metatrader. With all 28 pairs total string length is 195 characters.

But if you need even more pairs in the list after 255, then you can add another dashboard to the chart. Make sure that both have a very unique Prefix. Like "ABRScan1" and "ABRScan2".

Also, I wouldn't recommend having too many pairs as it might slow Scanner quite a bit.
