GBPUSD Market Outlook-13 Aug 2018

In addition to Trade war problem, GBPUSD have its own concern on the Brexit Deal. In term of technical view, the bearish movement in GBPUSD had gained bit more of momentum crossing the deceleration channel (from Elliott Wave Trend.). I have printed the deceleration channel from Elliott Wave Trend from its potential ABC correction phase. If GBPUSD can cross over the deceleration channel, then there is a chance to have short term bullish move. Remember the bullish move might be short term only. Otherwise, the bearish move will be likely to continue. Watch out the deceleration line I have marked on the screenshot from Elliott wave trend.

Pattern Completion Interval and Basic Order Management for harmonic Pattern Trading

Pattern Completion Interval is the concept, first introduced in the Book (Practical Guide to Precision Harmonic Pattern Trading), to help you to trade with harmonic pattern in more scientific way. Especially, it helps you to achieve the desired Reward/Risk ratio while you are trading in real time tick by tick data. Here is one of many approaches how you may use the Pattern Completion Interval concept for your trading. Of course, this approach is compatible with your Harmonic Pattern Plus and Harmonic Pattern Scenario Planner. We produce this diagram so you can understand this approach intuitively without any calculator in your hands. Tr = Take Profit Ratio and Sr = Stop Loss Ratio. The diagram shows the case of two orders but you can even generate more orders taking this example further. Hopefully this new diagram is easier to understand than previous one.

Here is the current market outlook of USDJPY. In both lower and higher timeframe, USDJPY shows that its bullish momentum is rather reversed manner. With the formation of bullish Shark pattern, USDJPY gone up nearly 150 pips. However, it does not show any more momentum yet. It stopped at exactly around the third PRZ Type B levels and the price reversed. At the moment, USDJPY is coming back its first PRZ Type B levels. if this is penetrated then we would be seeing USDJPY to test demand zone on the bottom.
