Dark Moon MT5

Dark Moon is a fully automatic Expert Advisor for Scalping Trading. This Expert Advisor needs attention, in fact presents highly customizable.

Dark Moon is based on Dark Absolute Trend MT5 indicator, these Trades can be manage with some strategies. (Write a review at market to receive 1 paid indicator for free!)

The expert advisor is able to get a very high-rate of winning trades. My tests were performed with the real tick date with 99,90% accuracy, actual spread, additional slippage and High commission.

Optimization experience is required to Download the robot.

All the settings are external, so that everyone can set the robot as they wish. 

The basic strategy starts with Market order in trend following, but you can change it, in others strategies counter trend.

Recommendations

  • The Recommended Timeframe depends on your settings, but you can use M5, M15, H1 and all others timeframes with the appropriate settings.
  • The Expert can go on EURUSD, GBPUSD, NZDUSD and USDCHF, but also in others with the appropriate settings.
  • An Ecn broker is always recommended
  • A low latency vps is always recommended.
  • The recommended Leverage and deposit depends on settings.
  • Understand how the EA works by reading the ► offline user manual and some example settings


Parameters


Dark Moon Settings

  • Magic Number: ID number of the orders.
  • Max Spread: maximum spread to trade.

Money Management Settings

  • Lots: number of lots if the money management option is disabled.
  • Money Management: if true enables the money management option. 
  • Risk Percent: if the money management option is enabled, it indicates the risk percentage.

Indicators Settings

  • Enable Dark Absolute Trend: if true, enable the indicator
  • Dark Absolute Trend Strategies: Select the strategy to follow
  • Moment of the Signal: Decide whether the signal will be executed on the current bar or on the close of the previous bar
  • Dark Absolute Trend Period: Periods of Dark Absolute Trend Indicator
  • Dark Absolute Trend Timeframe: Timeframe of Dark Absolute Trend Indicator

Trading Hour

  • Enable Time Filter: if true enables the time filter
  • Trading Start Hour: operating start Hour
  • Trading Start Minute: operating start minutes
  • Trading Stop Hours: operating end Hour
  • Trading Stop Minute: operating end minutes
  • Close Out of hours: close all orders at the end of the timetable.

    Trading Directions

    • Allow Buy: if true, Ea can trade with buy orders.
    • Allow Sell: if true, Ea can trade with sell orders.
    • Allow Buy and Sell at the same time: Allow buy and sell orders at the same time
    • Allow Order From Others Charts, At Same Time: if true, allow orders from others charts (If the EA then is positioned on other pairs, for example)
    Trading Settings
    • Max Buy Orders: Max Number of buy orders at the same time
    • Max Sell Orders: Max Number of sell orders at the same time
    • One Trade Bar: if true, robot can open only one trade for bar.

    bisher habe ich den bot nur auf EURUSD M5, dort hat er beim backtesting am besten abgeschnitten. jetzt warten wir mal ab, was er macht. wenn ich mehr erfahrungen gemacht habe, dann werde ich diese Rezension updaten

    VPS 4x4 only (!) with 1-3 ms reply (4 core CPU 2,6 Hhz, 4 Gb RAM, 20 Gb SSD, Windows 2019 Core + MT5 vanilla, build 4260). 14 instances of EA. Each of them processing 1 symbol of investing instruments (stock shares, futures, etc). The clone of this VPS performing fx trading. CPU load about 50-60%, RAM 45%, disk usage about 12 Gb of 20 Gb). About 1000 bars history on every chart and no more to avoid performance issues. BEFORE you start tuning money lot size set a stop loss! Money or percent. I prefer 10-15% of lot =) Carefully set grid parameters according to test results. The Strategy Tester with chosen symbol SHOULD run on the VPS you plan to trade. The other environment the other trade. On my notebook with 10 ms robot doesn't trade at all and its normal situation. If market changes its behavior you should revise parameters of robot. In some cases you would better stop all robots. By the way i want my Take profit on ATR in Dark Moon and Dark Venus!..)) Average trailing stop doesn't work with futures. As experienced architect & QA & supporter i would finally note Marco's perfect industrial style of design with good & structured manuals (installation, upgrading, troubleshooting, FAQ) and backtest results.     It does not execute trades for me, no robot works for me, I have algorithmic trading activated, I have reinstalled them and created new MT5 demo accounts, no robot ever works

    Looks great in backtesting. Sadly I was informed by hosting server that indicator needs a rewrite and it was slowing charts down. Will have to put to one side for the moment. Forum posters asked the same question I had without any significant response.

    It worked well on demo but when used on real account it works fine for 2 days then goes to trying to blow your account with irresponsible behavior opening up to 9 positions wrong and loosing most of your equity

    Backtested it to the past 6months on M15, M30 and H1; this never made 10+ trades. Put it on the live account yesterday and it hasn't placed a single trade 30+ hrs later. Not impressed at all. This is a bad bad EA
