Project Summary/Request for Comments
Elpidos Trading is a a small partnership of two traders who perform active trading and management of currency account portfolios. We are seeking a consultant/programmer/MQL4 programmer who can work with us to automate a strategy which was provided in a strategy forum known as Tradingview.com. This scope of work includes two tasks with a possible follow up third task:
A) Client will provide a copy of the Tradingview language, Pinescript for the Heiken Ashi Version 2 stategy which is open sourced for use to the Tradingview Community. Programmer/Consultant/ Coder will reproduce the strategy in MQL4 for Metatrader4 on at least five fiat and crypto currency pairs as specified by the client. Upon payment, client will own the new script provided by the coder and will reserve all rights related to the script and will prohibit reproduction for commercial resale.
B) Creation of an MT4 expert advisor which can automatically run the same continuous buy/sell positioning on at least five different crypto and fiat currency pairs. Client will own the EA provided by the coder and will reserve all rights related to the script and will prohibit reproduction for commercial resale in any form for any purpose.
C) After Task B is completed, we would like to work with the coder on Task C) to package an EA for sharing within trading communities such as TradingView and Myfxbook. This is being mentioned so that the coder understands our general intent. Task C is contingent upon successful completion of both tasks specified in the Request for Comment and is not a part of this scope of work at this time.
The programmer will have access to our client Tradingview acct as well as our MT4 demo accounts for the purpose of testing. Review of the Tradingview script, applied specifically to the15 minute chart for the most of the GBP currency pairs, as well as for ETH/USD crypto currency, will show that signals generated by the pinescript code have a 70% or higher win ratio. (We have noticed only one repaint of the arrow in six months and are therefore willing to take on the expense of the translation from pinescript to MT4.) We would like for the coder to translate the pinescript into MQL4 and test the MT4 results against the Tradingview screen to ensure that the same arrow indicators are present on MT4 as they are on Tradingview. We will require comparison checks of graphic indicators in a backtest of at least 120 days beginning Jan 1, 2018. Programmer should also forward test the strategy on MT4 for three weeks. This should be done on the 15 minute charts for Ethereum/USD, GBPUSD, GBPAUD, GBPNZD, and GBPJPY. Results should be reported by the consultant/programmer/coder to the client and if the client finds that the results can be compared successfully without deviation, the consultant/programmer/coder will proceed to Task B.
Task B) Create an MT4 expert advisor using the MQL4 language delivered in Task A. for the pound pairs specified as well as for ETH/USD crypto currency. The consultant/programmer/coder would work with the client to set up an MT4 EA, or robot, which would control entry and exit of positions resulting in continuous buy side sell side entries. The intention will be to run this expert advisor for two weeks on a demo account with a Virtual Private Server and if the trades taken by the EA for the pairs referenced above compare favorably to those reported in the strategy for Tradingview, Task B will be complete.
Timeline
The Expected Delivery for Task A should be no less than four weeks. If we proceed to Task B, expected delivery for that task will be no more than three weeks.
Deliverables:
Task A) Client presentation and conference showing that the program works successfully on MT4 and renders the same results as on MT4 as on Tradingview for ETH/USD GBPUSD GBPAUD GBPNZD GBPJPY. This can also be done in the form of a brief written report illustrating that the graphic indicators compare favorably with no deviation over the backtest of 120 days beginning Jan 1, 2018 as well as forward test periods comparisons of three weeks.
Task B) Prove successful test run comparison and deliver EA
Client will provide the pinescript, the demo accounts for testing on MT4 and access to the Tradingview account, as well as online support and commentary to the coder/programmer as necessary.
Payment:
Payment will be provided following the successful scripting of Task A. After payment of Task A is completed, Task B will begin and after Task B is delivered payment of Task B will be rendered.

The Customer should provide the Requirements Specification for all potential Developers to avoid any additional interaction outside of the Freelance service before concluding an agreement.

Fulfilling Orders outside of the Freelance service
- You can use the Freelance service only for its intended purpose - carrying out all necessary works and making payments for published Orders. Searching for customers and developers in the Freelance service in order to perform a work outside of the service is forbidden.
- Customers and Applicants cannot exchange contact data in any form before concluding a Work Agreement. Violators are banned from participating in the Freelance.
- Carrying out works and payments for Freelance Orders outside of the service is forbidden. Violators lose access to all MQL5.com website services.
- The Administration has the right to ban violators from participating in the Freelance service without any explanation after an internal investigation.
