Today Closed the last of the longer term open trades, and withdrew all. Got my 990 deposit back and an extra 2904.42 profit on top, a cool 293% absolute profit.
Not great for 62 weeks, but anything green is good in my books!

For 52 minutes am I asking a broker the same question.
"Your say your bonus is tradable. Now if I deposit $1000 and get a $500 bonus, and on a bad day my equity drops to $450.
What will you do then? Will you cancel the bonus to protect your own money or risk me driving it down to zero?"
You see: Most brokers allow in their T & Cs, that they can cancel Bonusses for whatever reasons the sushi chef can think off on the day.

So......... if you upgrade to Windows 10, you will need to RE-ACTIVATE any bots. This makes no difference to me, but this does mean that if you run a robot on PC you wish to upgrade, you will loose 1 activation!!!!!! so Beware!

Purchased Product is bound to specific devices and specific copy of an operating system. Thus, the protection does not allow to launch a Product, even if a hardware was substituted to the exactly the same one or if an operating system of the same type was reinstalled.
All 5 activations of XXX and YYY were used by you on various PCs/OSs.

OK... Here as promised. WINDOWS 10
I made the leap today on one of my test computers, and downloaded a very sleek nice looking version of Windows 10. It looks and feels nice, and I am a happy customer with this free update rom Microsoft.
I have tested some basic software, MT4, used the new Edge browser and ... I like...
Now for the BAD parts. Windows does not retain all configuration data, so after an install you will loose some settings.
So when re-start your MetaTrader you will have to re-enter Login Data. And redo any custom settings.
However somewhat more serious, is the EAs that I had purchased and tested on the test machine prior to Windows 10, now have an INVALID_LICENSE, and need to be re-activated. This means you will loose an Activation (and you'll be stuffed if you do not have any).
Now luckily for me, this bot has not made a cent since I bought it in January this year, so it is of no concern to me, but others could be greatly affected.
Today I will file a request off to MQL5 Support. I will post an update with what they say or do
If you are not relying on preserving activations for any bot, then feel free. I like it......
But if you need your purchased bots, I'd stay away until I hear from MQL5

1) Reserve it using the Windows Notification Icon. It is on the Windows Status Bar, bottom right. They will send a confirmation email when it is ready for download. Now you need to wait, until they say "Its your turn". Hours/Days or a week or two.

2) If you cannot wait, then do the above anyway, and then go straight to the download page. Please read the instructions there - it is simple enough.

Windows 10 is nice, but if you have EAs, you MAY loose the EA Activations. I lost ALL my activations on that computer. Which does not bother me because it was a TEST PC, and whatever activation on there I don't need anymore. I have filed a report with MQL5 Support. Stay tuned.

Something personal to share. My fruit block. 63 Acres. Partially planted to Apricots, Nectarines, Peaches and Plums.
In my avatar, for a couple of weeks, the best Apricots in the world.... They truly are better then Grandma's.
Not only are there winning fruits, we have exciting trials. Nectarcots, a white fleshed Apricot, Aprium, Pluots, Plumcots. Plums from Israel, and some great Apricots originating from France.

For the people that are running Window 8 or 8.1, Windows 10 will be a free upgrade but you must reserve your copy.
You must click on the Windows icon in the Task Bar at the Bottom Right of your screen. (see picture)
It will open up a window, put in your email address, and press OK. You will get a confirmation email. End of July you will receive a link with download location.

I just found out that the „Extended Support“ for Win7 ends January 14th in 2020. - That means, patches relevant to security will still be available for the next years. - I tend to waiting with the installation of Win10, to be honest.

Yes fair enough. Once Mainstream Support ends, it sends a signal that Microsoft is keen to let that product go. But... it will not leave millions of people vulnerable to security attacks because that will damage the clients and the reputation of Microsoft. So after this Mainstream support ends, the product moves on to the phase-out cycle. Microsoft will do the minimum - and Critical Security Updates are about all you will get.
This means you need to move on.... but you have some years to do so.
Many of my friends have been using Windows 10 now for months, and they love it.
Windows 10 is a much better beast then 7 or 8.1, it is faster, my start menu is back, an improved browser, and the Virtual Desktop looks nice.
So for me I will install Win 10 the day it comes out, on one of my computers. I will run EA's, Back Test, and use it. If it works well, then I will upgrade my remaining computers.
I will post something on my wall when it is out, and MY results of testing.

I have 3 powerful computers in my office (I build them myself), so allocating one computer for testing is not a problem and even if it does blow up, it will makes no difference on my other work and projects.

Over the last years I have bought some EAs and subscribed to a number of signals, and the overall result so far has ended up in in a PayPal transfer from me to someone else, followed by my trading account being wiped out. Yes I have paid money to loose money, not once, but several times.
There are many nice people on this forum, and I know some are in the same boat. Some of us NEED to earn money on forex, some of us don't need the money but just WANT to get money from Forex, and some see the need of others as a FEEDING ground for themselves.
Myself? I have a family with young children. The best way to help my children is not by sitting in front of a computer, donating money into other peoples account.
I am new to this MQL4 world (about 1 year), although have been in Software Development since the 1980s when the Commodore 64 appeared to rule the world. I know more computer languages then I have fingers, and frankly MQL4 is just a derivative of the popular C language with built in financial, indicator and trading support.
For the last year I have prototyped ideas, and built an excellent library that enhances the trading functions provided by MQL4. My template EA covers 12 files, and at the risk of sounding arrogant - I think it is very good.
Thinking and Doing are different things, and when I see signals of 10000% in 4 weeks, and a 2nd signal already at 120% after 2 weeks from the same author, I think to myself, well that is better then I can do.... I will pay him $20, and I can relax, and work on my own stuff.
So I subscribe to from Nothing to a Millionaire. Signals starts with about 10USD, and it is now at 20USD. OK I will throw in 500 euro of hard earned money. When he is at 40000 I'll be at 1 Million. It didn't last and the signal got stopped out 24 hours later. My money nearly gone. He then continues to trade and finishes off the last euros in my account before the signal got stopped out again. And whilst is this happening, I'm scratching my head, 'What are you doing?? - Why?". But I always think they know better.
In all honousty, that signal started with 10 euro, earned 700 euro in subscriptions fees. He earned 690 and all us fools lost our money.
Etiquette says - he should cancel his dead signal - which would return the Subscription Fees. But I expect it will stay there for 1 month and then be cancelled. If you fail you do not charge. You have already cost the customer enough - DO THE RIGHT THINGS, and cancel your signal and return the Subscription Fees.
Over the weekend I had a lot of thinking time. And today, I noticed another new signal, 100% +++ in 3 weeks with already 12 subscribers. 99% drawdown and stopped. Today reconfirmed everything.
I don't do what I know I can do, because of the promises here on this forum. I have seen EAs that do not work, but still continue to be sold, and signals that exceed reasonable risk settings provide great returns for subscribers for 2 weeks only.
So my decision is to concentrate on what I know, and finish off my software with 100% attention. So in about 3 to 4 weeks I will publish my own signal. It will generate good returns, because that is what "I" need!!!!
My disclaimer: Not all signals are bad, Not all EA's are bad. Over the last week I've been trying an EA that looks good.

I'm, too, coming from the ages of Commodore 64 and 128 :) ... a professional EA programmer, trader since 2003, marketer, and most of my profit comes from commissions that I got from my 64 costumers registered under my IB who mostly are using my EAs.
I believe in every word you said. It is hard to find good EA or a signal from honest person.
Please check my profile and see my last posts about the challenge I did 2 days ago. I'm publishing my forward test results (not un-reliable back tests) and login details even on demo account. My live account will start this week and I will put the results after a month.
If you like my EA (named "Forex Black Hole"), It is my honor to send you a copy of it as a Gift because you deserve that. If you agree, Please send me your trading account number and I will send you FULL licensed copy works on your live account and demos to show you that there are some EAs that works well :) ... but keep away from uncertain products.
By the way, there is a un-correctable mistake in the DD of my free signal as the real DD is 30% (on myfxbook . com). It is still a little bit high because of the un-match between account type and starting balance. Now, I'm using it on my live micro account on XM with an equity of $2,000. DD is too low but the period of test is too short yet. I will move shortly to my brand new account for the sake to get best shape of the results.

Hey Cornelis, read your above thread and wish you all the luck in the world with your EA. Personally i have not come across an EA that can constantly provide gains in all markets however I am sure that there are some out there.
I believe Trading is a passion that takes many many years to learn and even than you are always learning. Can i suggest you learn about S&R zones (support & resistance) a little and take trading into your own hands. The biggest part of trading i find is money management, if you can not manage your risks you will not last - no question at all , no money management your account will be blown every time. Also don't expect big gains, its just unrealistic. Slow and steady wins the race.

They limit the number of deals cause must of them are market makers they are afraid from and scalpers and other things but in real stp module their is no limit cause if you are buying their must be sellers to take your positions

Spread needs to be reasonable, and bonus $ or rebates would be super as well. Trading nearly every minute (less at night time).
I'm currently using Forex Time Cent. It is OK, but for the cent account the spread is quiet high (EURAUD is about 10 pips, AUDNZD about 11 pips). Can still make money, but you are now allowed to set a SL within 2 times the current spread. If spread is 10 pips, then the SL must be 20 pips away. Obviously if your target is 10 pips, and on an order you already start 10 pips behind, and then the SL needs to be 20 pips further, its gets somewhat wasteful.
If you not comfortable whacking a name down, send a PM.
