Macro focused FX signal. Brought to you by a hedge fund trader. I traded for a small US hedge fund managing their FX and options book for 3 years. Now I manage a small book of Chinese A shares, futures and HongKong stocks and options for a China-based hedge fund with 5 billion AUM. I'm maintaining this personal FX account on the side.

My style of trading: pure macro-focused position discretionary trading. I don't do pairs, I don't do "hedging" and I hate algos/quants. Simply old school macro trading with proper risk management. As this is my personal account I'm comfortable with a little bit of drawdown in the range of 20-30% in anticipation of higher return. I put in a lot of work behind every trade I take. As such trades are not frequent. I average about 10 trades per month, including position management trades. Trades are structured based on the view I have on the market.

I don't recommend high leverage. When I was managing FX for the fund, we normally didn't go over 10. Actually most of the time we were at 3-5. For those interested in subscription, I'd say 50:1 is the max you should use as a retail account. If you are conservative I would say 10-30 would be better. Your return will be smaller but 40-60% a year is a mighty high return.

Please stay away from martingale signals on the mql5 site. They will ruin your account sooner or later.

MFE and MAE Distribution Point Graphs

Maximum profit (MFE) and maximum loss (MAE) values are recorded for each open order during its lifetime. These parameters additionally characterize each closed order using the values of the maximum unrealized potential and maximum permitted risk. MFE/Profit and MAE/Profit distribution graphs display each order as a point with received profit/loss value plotted along the X-axis, while maximum displayed values of potential profit (MFE) and potential loss (MAE) are plotted along the Y-axis.
