The AntonovEA Longterm Strategy trades two currency pairs: AUDNZD and AUDCAD. The core philosophy of the strategy can be described as the belief in the “regression to the mean”. The technical approach is the statistical relevant phenomenon that after an extreme amplitude between two currencies, the subsequent amplitude is bouncing back to the technical average. According to this theory and historical data, the currency market -unlike stock markets- do not move up- or downwards in a long-term observation but moves in waves around a certain mean value (kind of fair price value). The strategy is specialized to identify and exploit exaggerations in the value fluctuations on the currency market to achieve higher return for the investors.
