As a rule, such abnormally large candles appear either at the beginning of strong impulses or at the end of a directional price movement. At the beginning of the pulse, the signal can serve as a basis for searching for an entry point, at the end of the movement, it is a sign of a climax and may indicate the near end of the trend. The reference size for filtering abnormal candlesticks can be the ATR value of the corresponding period, increased by 20-50%.

Идея очень интересная. Просто и понятно. Вдобавок его можно использовать с любой торговой системой или при ручной торговле. Согласен с portgsm , что сигнальные свечи желательно раскрасить в альтернативные цвета. Индикатор весьма чувствителен к выбору таймфрейма и требует индивидуальной подгонки для каждого. По моему мнению порог срабатывания (Signal Level) было бы целесообразно вынести в окно индикатора Bar Size MT4 для изменения мышью. Тогда легко выбрать оптимальный для точек входа или закрытия позиции. Отличная работа.

Очень полезный индикатор, идея интересная. Помогает с большой вероятностью определять места входа и закрытия позиции. Удобен, нагляден и прост в пользовании. Думаю, что как один из фильтров принятия решения, индикатор может использоваться с любой торговой системой.

Было бы полезно (мое мнение) сигнальные свечи раскрасить в зависимости от направления (зеленые-красные). Визуально сразу понятно куда импульс. На скрине (слева) было бы видно, что есть поглощение нисходящего имульса. Так всё интуитивно понятно. гут
