GOLD EAGLE is a swing strategy ideal for a flat market, which takes up to 80-90% of the time.

The GOLD EAGLE EA is optimized for the XAUUSD (GOLD) pair. This is a trend scalping strategy using the TrendLine PRO indicator as an input signal.
The EA opens the first order at the signal of the indicator and fixes the profit at a given level, but if the price does not reach the profit and rolls back, an additional order automatically opens averaging the level of the total profit making it closer to the entry point.
A series of orders always closes at a profit thanks to the built-in DrawDown Reduce function, which closes the most unprofitable and most profitable orders in the series at the common profit point.
All trades opened by the trader manually or automatically will be closed with a profit using the DrawDown Reduce Function settings. This function will automatically close the most unprofitable and the most profitable orders in the series reducing the drawdown on the account

How to avoid unpleasant market fluctuations:

To filter strong trend price fluctuations, the EA has a Higher Time Frame filter, it allows new trades to be opened only if the signal of the current period coincides with the trend of the older period
Set up a news filter (News Filter) so that the EA can make a pause in trading before and after the release of important news.

I have tested a lot of EAs and out of all that I've seen this one was worth it. Whenever you buy an EA or even before you buy an EAI would suggest using the optimizer in the strategy tester. Buy 99.9% real tick data and optimize your EA according to your broker. Only then will you be able to optimize the settings that will be closer to real market conditions. Do not expect any EA straight out the Box to give you the best results everyone's brokers and trading conditions may differ due to delays and spreads. That is why it is important to optimize your settings according to your preferences. I have purchased the trend pro indicator as well prior to this EA and i would have to say im impressed the level of detail that went into all of that. Setup is worth the trouble because after that everything is streamlined so i expected the same quality and was not disappointed. I am also proud to say that with optimized settings i was able to pass phase one of my prop firm challenge and will be on my way to verification. If using the bot for the same reason I am my suggestion would be to actively monitor all of your trades Because just like with any EA and even the best traders best losses canand will occur. In case you were wondering About negative reviews on any EA just remember just about nobody optimizes settings or reaches out to the developer for help so i would suggest doing so to get the most out of your purchase. And remember in trading and life in general RISK MANAGEMENT IS KEY TO SUCCESS.

After many months trying my best with Evgeniy EAs, including Gold Eagle, finally I give up. Let me point out good and bad for you, so you can decide.

GOOD:

* After you purchase Gold Eagle, you can work hard and make your own custom set file, after optimization of several parameters. If you are successful, you can have profits from Gold trading with this EA. This EA has a potential, but you must be expert with optimizing EAs in MT5 BackTester to achieve that, and have access to powerful servers to let it churn for days to find profitable sets.

BAD:

* After you purchase EA, you are on your own. Realize that. Read below.

* Evgeniy is very unprofessional, cannot understand proper English, cannot accept any criticism. I've been kicked out from his Infinity group twice, once because I caught his admin on lying, so he kicked me out because I said that, but Evgeniy restored my access. And second time I was kicked out because I asked Evgeniy why his sets he is providing on are blowing the account, all of them. Kick from the group and permanent ban immediately. I touched sensitive point. In Evgeniy club only unexperienced users have place, he just want them to pay more money. No real support, no solving problems. If unexperienced user blows the account, it's his fault. Is someone is asking too many questions, kick immediately and all messages deleted. No trace of any problem, so rest of the newbies can continue their journey with "I paid money, what now?". Well, I know how this will end for many unexperienced users. Lost money on Evgeniy's product, nothing else. I won't be coming back to this group, there is nothing to gain from being there.

* DO NOT RUN Gold Eagle sets from Evgeniy on real account unless you optimize them. They blow the account, each and every one of them I tested. MT5 backtests on many different history ranges, from 2015 up till now. Usually they only survive less than a year then they go to zero.

* DO NOT RUN Gold Eagle sets from Telegram group admin "Ayman". His sets are blowing the account. Same story as original Evgeniy sets.

* all Gold Eagle sets are not being updated. Latest update is for Gold Eagle 4.1 from November 2021.

* all Evgeniy EAs are not being updated. All development has literally stopped. Not even visual things or minor updates. I have several of his products and nothing is being updated, and they all have issues. Old EAs like Genesis or Joker, after people realized how bad they were, he just pulled it out from MQL5 Market. Got money already. I am sure he will create plenty of new EAs to gather more money from newbies.

If you buy Gold Eagle now, you are taking a big risk. It's better to search a bit more and find STABLE and RELIABLE EA which works without spending endless hours optimizing on two 16-core, 64GB ECC RAM servers, trying to make it work.

You have been warned - do not buy anything from Evgeniy unless you have plenty of time to work on your own and develop a set.

Edit: see his reply to my review, do you see how rude he is? Outrageous!!! I bought your EAs months ago I thought they are good, and your support is good. How wrong I was!!!! What a waste of money and of my time. You are liar and your EAs are worthless, I will never buy anything from you again, you can be sure of that! And he says I was rude to members of community? How? will make good profits when gold is going sideways. but then with one single strong move of gold, like this june 16th after fed session, or today august 9th, or friday august 6th, all profits will BOOOOM go up in flames and you will be empty handed. I limited the drawdown to 15%, had a lot of only 0.02, had the news filter on, but still lost 600 EUR. Problem was that AFTER the big drop, the EA opened short trades into a massives rebound.

As we all know, gold does this strong moves again and again. It's a manipulated price open to strong speculation. So, even after a few months of trying, with all settings under the sky, I could not make this EA profitable in the long run. it's much better than most martingales, that's for sure. But for really make it make money for you, you will have to watch your terminal with EAGLE eyes.

I never made any money with it. I lost. Like almost everyone, it seems. But I still give it 3 stars because it's still a carefully and skillfully programmed and professional EA, and the customer service is ok. You can't make a trend following grid martingale EA much better. The concept itself has it's limitations. If you want to use it, you will have to monitor closely and work around the limitations. I strongly recommend not to use a lot bigger than 0.01 in the beginning.

PS: What is frustrating though, is that the EA never ever, and I mean really NEVER manages to make a profit with a sudden drop / outbreak in Gold. It's always caught on the wrong foot. Long when it should be short, and vice versa. How can this be? I don't know. Why, for heavens sake, can't it be short one time, just once, when there is a drop in Gold? Gold is cruel.

Anyway, I suggest that you activate the option "close all trades in case of drawdown of more than X" and set X to 10%. You will need it. Certainly. Get ready for it.

Thanx for your response. I used the Candle Filter wirh D1 timeframe, First Order. In this case it was a problem because the D1 Trend was Down, but a massive Rebound happened. Please adapt your great EA for eurusd. Gold ist just too crazy for Trend trading.

I am a beginner trader and decided to purchase Gold Eagle MT5 with a plan to earn passive income while I learn the ropes of manual trading and technical analysis. I am very impressed with the Gold Eagle but there is a-lot to learn. My strategy tends to be on the slight riskier side so I've tried to optimize the sets provided by the maker to try for more profit with slightly higher DD on my $1000 balance, using lot size 0.05. I've run it on a demo set with some good results but when gold becomes very volatile on steep trends, you can't walk away from the EA, you need to control it, it seems. My hopes is to have the EA running without much supervision but have excellent profit, so still working on my set. I'm overall happy but it's proving to be a little more work than I hoped for as a beginner, but I'm up for the challenge to get it working the way I want. My only constructive criticism would be that it would be good if this version of Gold Eagle for MT5 had a good optimized set for max profit, or a series of sets that customers can chose from depending on level of risk to reward that they want.. the parameters are a challenge for a beginner to learn so its not a just load in and run kind of program.

This is a very good and robust EA. It has a lot of parameters you can set. I do recommend signing up for their telegram support group before using it on your own. Use the strategy tester to test the set files that the developer offers as well. Also, i highly recommend starting with a demo account before using it with real money. This is not a get rich scheme, you can make a lot of money but you can also loose all of it in a fell swoop if you are not careful. Trading is a high risk business and this EA helps out a lot if you learn how to use it.

Тестировал версию от 3.09.2020, а купил с обновлением от 3.10.2020 и эта версия абсолютно не рабочая! при тестах почти каждый месяц сливной, описание что минимальный депозит 100$ надо понимать, что только центовый счет! на долларовом счете минимум 10000$ но с такими возможностями подыщите себе более надежного советника! Тестировал именно этого советника, а не какого-то другого и именно с рекомендованными настройками, даже депозит 10000 сливается, кто сомневается, проверьте за 2020г. с депом 10000$ по каждому месяцу, а точнее Июль - Август и Ноябрь
