EA Inputs

The system is configured via the panel's CONFIG button rather than relying on inputs. However, here are a few inputs you may wish to change:

Important_brokerSLTPSetOnOrderSend - set to true if broker requires SL to be set on Order Send (can also be set in CONFIGU button | Options), e.g. some European brokers require this, where classic ECN brokers require this to be false (default)
Main_confirm* - set to false to turn off confirmation dialogs on trade close click, for example
Main_selection* - change what is shown in the various selection lists
Main_panelShowSingleLotSetting - set to true to show single lots box on panel

I have the payed version. The possibilities are overwhelming so it will take some effort to fully understand it. One of the features I like is the possibility to se set a virtual stop loss and take profit target. It is very convenient that you can choose between a virtual and broker sl and tp. For virtual stop loss you need to have a very reliable connection to your broker. If you do not have a stable connection you can choose to set the real sl and tp at the broker. I have to check if you can do the same with pending orders. Anyway excellent software and support that is worth its price many times. But I am glad it is that cheap, otherwise I could not afford it. :)

In the manual we have to cover everything. The CONFIG pop-up is very modular, so no need to access capabilities not required, but everything is there for a reason. Most users should just need to set stop loss via CONFIG | Stop Loss, set take profit via CONFIG | Take Profit and set risk per trade in CONFIG | Risk / Lots then away you go. Although, out of the box, all of those items are already set to a recommended default.

We do set broker stop loss and take profit as well. The offset from hidden levels is set in CONFIG | Stop Loss and CONFIG | Take Profit, respectively, via Broker Offset box. Can set to 0 to make the same as the hidden levels.

Hello, I'm having an issue, even with the option of the broker does need an SL to be inputed when order being sent, but the trading panel does not send the order with an SL inputed so the trade gets closes in a few seconds without me being able of placing one manully. this has been tested on market execution, don't know about pending.

Just set this option in CONFIG button| Options where it says 'Broker requires SL to be sent with order open request' (first one in the list). Note, it is not set by default as ECN brokers require this to be off and we have to do a modify to set SL after trade open.

I have bought the software on the maker's site. Way too many functionalities packed into one software. It was better to create two distinct parts: one for manual trading and one for automation. The manual trading part is absolute rubbish. You have to check always the lot sizes, as you may end up with a ridiculous order. Today I lost an account, which was very close to passing the challenge, due to the ridiculously high lot size(116.22 for uk100) set by the system. I do agree that I should double check all the time the orders. However, if I cannot rely on your software, why are you charging money for it? The user manual is spotless. It reminds me of a Dostoyevsky novel. The automation part has a steep learning curve. I still need to do testing to see if there is any point in using it. You should have some safety features too. You don't buy a car because it can go, but because it can stop. I have not contacted the support. Therefore, I cannot say anything about it.

Edit: Dear Mark,

After you set the lot number on the application it tends to change if you touch any option. Pardon my English, however, that is rather stupid behaviour. What's the point of using an app, if you need to review every setting manually, several times? The idea is great. Unfortunately, you still need to make many improvements. I believe eventually you will get there. However, currently your application offers many functionalities, and not enough safety features.

? We've not got any record of you asking for help. We have a great track record of answering questions, even with our free products. We have Ultimate Trade Manager + Mobile for manual trading and you can then purchase Indicator Combine to bring indicator automation. However, very easy to turn off auto trading and indeed will act as manual panel by default anyway. The lot size calculation will depend on the stop loss that has been configured. We have inputs to control this and min/max lots as well. We have plenty of rules in the library for limiting drawdown, etc. Re edit: Really wish you would just message us like everybody else does. If you set the Lots box directly then make sure you blank out the Risk box otherwise will set lots from the risk. This happens automatically if you use the selection list on the Lots box. Our CONFIG pop-up is very modular, so you don't need to access any areas of the EA you are not currently interested in. We've got plenty of videos on our website https://www.runwisefx.com/videos.htm to explain the system. Everything is there for a reason. There are plenty of other protection features: There is a Max Tickets setting in CONFIG | Risk / Lots. There is an Main_maxConsecutiveLosingTradesBeforeAutoSuspension EA input that can turn off auto if too many losing trades in a row, etc., and plenty of other rules related to this in our library.
