Trend And Aggression Indicator

Multicurrency, multi-timeframe and multicolored candlestick trend indicator, signaling trend's direction, aggression, weakening and change.

New Trend

A new trend is signaled by the change of colors in the chart candles.

The new trend can be started in two ways, smoothly or aggressively.

The indicator signals the beginning of a bullish trend with soft change when the color of the candles change from red or pink to turquoise.

And it signals an aggressive start of a bullish trend by changing the color of the candles from red or pink to lime green.

Equally, the soft start signal of a bearish trend is when the color of the candles change from lime green or turquoise to pink.

And finally, the aggressive start signal of a low trend with the change of the color of the candles from lime green or turquoise to red.

Trend Aggression

Indicates that there is an extra force in the direction of the signalized trend.

It is signaled by the color of the candles, where when red indicates aggression in the bearish trend, and when lemon green indicates aggression in the bullish trend.

Trend Weakening

Indicates that there is loss of force in the direction of the trend signalized with aggression.

It is signaled by the change in the color of the candles, where when pink indicates loss of strength in the bearish trend, and when turquoise indicates loss of strength in the bullish trend.

Loss of strength is only identified after the trend has signaled with aggression.

Trading with the Indicator

Trading with the indicator are a personal decision of how to do that.

It can be used to enter at trend change or only after the aggression.

And also to indicate the moment of closing the trades, with the weakening or changing the trend signal.

Configurations

That is an configuration indicator easy-to-use, with simple parameters.

  • Timeframe - It's simply just the time frame where the indicator will work.
  • Smoothing Type - The price series smoothing type.
  • Type of Price or Handle - Price values on which calculations will be performed.
  • Shift - Shift of the indicator relative to the price chart.
  • Period - The period for the indicator calculations.
  • Signal Deviation - Deviation from the indicator main line signal - used to define the aggression signal.

Final considerations

Highly liquid assets have trend cycles.

  1. Trend start
  2. Aggression on trend direction
  3. Loss of trend strength
  4. Reverse trend start

The color of the candles indicates the direction and strength of the asset's trend at that time, not whether the candle was high or low.

Then a high candle may be represented in pink or red, due to the tendency of that moment to be low. And also, a low candle may be represented in lime green or turquoise because at that time the trend is high.
