RailWay by DNG

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Let me introduce the new RailWay trend EA. This EA uses a unique algorithm of trend detection, which allows to achieve the effect of clear trend following, like a train moves on rails.

The EA uses a multi-timeframe algorithm of trend detection, which simultaneously checks the trend direction on all timeframes from M1 to D1. The false signals can be eliminated using a filter based on the MACD indicator. This technology allows the EA to accurately select the entry point.

The take profit and stop loss levels are in the parameters for closing orders. It is possible to display these levels both in the classical form (in points of the instrument used), and as multiplier for the value of the Average True Range indicator.

The EA also provides the following order maintenance options:

  • transfer of the stop loss to breakeven when reaching the specified profit value;
  • trailing stop.

Similar to the stop loss and take profit levels, the value of the breakeven and take profit area can be set both in points and as a multiplier for the ATR. With that the EA also correctly works in the case when both parameters are set (it uses the minimum current value).

Let's have a look at the EA settings:

  • Fixed lot - fixed lot;
  • Margin pressure, % (0 - use Fixed lot) - Margin load on the account per 1 order;
  • Maximal Lot - limit on the maximum allowed volume of one order. "0" - function is disabled;
  • Slippage, points - the maximum allowed slippage level in points of the instrument used;
  • Classic TakeProfit, points - the classic take profit level in points of the instrument used. "0" - function is disabled;
  • Classic StopLoss, points - the classic stop loss level in points of the instrument used. "0" - function is disabled;
  • Maximal Spread - maximum spread to open an order. "0" - function is disabled;
  • ATR period - period of the ATR indicator, used in the calculation of the dynamic levels of take profit, stop loss, trailing stop and breakeven;
  • TakeProfit multiplier, ATR*X - multiplier for the calculation of the dynamic take profit level. "0" - function is disabled;
  • StopLoss Multiplier, ATR*X - multiplier for the calculation of the dynamic stop loss level. "0" - function is disabled;
  • Magic - the magic number to select the orders of the EA;
  • Classic Trailing Stop On/Off - enable/disable the classic trailing stop function;
  • Trailing Stop, points - the classic trailing stop level in points of the instrument used;
  • ATR Trailing Stop On/Off - enable/disable the dynamic trailing stop function based on the ATR indicator;
  • Trailing Stop multiplier, ATR*X - multiplier for the calculation of the dynamic trailing stop level;
  • Breakeven level, points - the value of the fixed profit when reaching the breakeven taking level in points of the instrument used;
  • Classic Breakeven On/Off - enable/disable the classic breakeven function;
  • Profit to activate Breakeven, points - the classic profit level to transfer the stop loss of the order to the breakeven area;
  • ATR Breakeven On/Off - enable/disable the dynamic breakeven function based on the ATR indicator;
  • Breakeven multiplier, ATR*X - multiplier for the calculation of the dynamic profit level to transfer the stop loss of the order to the breakeven area;
  • Use filter On/Off - enable/disable the signal filtering based on the MACD indicator;
  • Timeframe of indicator- timeframe to calculate the values of the ATR and MACD indicators;
  • Period of Fast EMA - fast MA period of the MACD indicator;
  • Period of Slow EMA - slow MA period of the MACD indicator;
  • Signal Period - signal line period of the MACD indicator;
  • Price Applied - prices used in calculation of the values of the MACD indicator.
