Specification
The EA must generate a txt file containing the following informations:
for each trade which has been opened in the trading day,it calculates the hypothetical gain/loss(in pips) after the close of each of the 30 bars following the opening of the trade(opening bar not included).Example:
-EURUSD long trade opened at bar x,price 1.1749
-bar (x+1) closes at 1.1745,therefore (x+1)outcome=-4 pips
-bar (x+2) closes at 1.1750,therefore (x+2)outcome=+1 pip
-and so on,for the following 28 bars (30 bars count in all).
The trade obviously has its stops,which may be caught before the end of the 30 bars,but the EA must keep counting also after the trade closing.
The txt file must be generated at midnight(broker's time) of each day.
PLEASE NOTE that all trades will not be opened on conventional charts,but upon off-line charts,as I work with tick charts that are generated into off-line charts.
Therefore,the bars to count don't have a conventional timeframe,as they close as soon as the due number of ticks is got.
Moreover,I trade on several tick charts of the same pair,although with different setting of number of ticks,so I guess the EA will have to be loaded on each of those charts.(Not sure it makes any difference for coding,just trying to give all needed informations).
Final note:the profit/loss count file should also report the trade ticket number and the magic number of each trade it refers to.
