Profit Calculation in Strategy Tester ?

Hi All,

I'm having a problem where the profit seems to be calculated incorrectly on every trade in the Strategy Tester. For example, the EA opened a SELL order at 1.8643 on GBPUSD and the order was closed at 1.8553, which is supposed to be a profit of 90 pips, or $90 with a 0.1 lot size. However, in the results of the Strategy Tester is shows only a $63 profit. All the trades in the report have an "incorrect" profit/loss like this. Any ideas why this is happening ?

I'm guessing there a different ways the strategy tester can calculate profits and someone mentioned that you can change this setting, but I have been unable to find a place to change this.

Any assistance will be much appreciated.

Do You consider swaps and commissions?
 
Hi there,

If I look at "Symbol Properties" it has the following values (among others):

Spreads: 4
Digits: 4
Stops Level: 4
Contract Size: 70000
Profit Calculation Mode: Forex
Swap Type: In Points
Swap Long: -0.38
Swap Short: 0.14

Too be honest I dont know how to check if commisions are taken into account. I'm afraid I dont know how these values impact the profit calculation and how I can change these settings.
