Dmitry Fedoseev:

If there is such a button, it will start - here my comrade asks to unban him, he pressed the button accidentally.

Well, then make the "Self-banned" button a paid one. If you don't have money in your account, you can't unban yourself.

Vladimir Karputov:

Well, then make the "Self-banned" button a paid one. If you don't have money in your account, you can't get banned.

Right.

And make the "Remove moderator from branch for a week/day" button - should be paid for too.

And button "Self-moderator in his branch" - make profitable, that is, if users want to see the topikstartera moderator in his branch - skid him (by 10 or 5). And if in total he does not have 50 from skid (for example), then he can not moderate his branch.

Kapitsa on the futility of alternative energy

...

Alternative energy is a corrupted whore of imperialism. Like genetics or cybernetics.

Igor Konyashin:

Alternative energy is the corrupted maiden of imperialism. Like genetics or cybernetics.

And if on the merits of the article, at least once without anti-Soviet banter? Or does anti-Sovietism rob you of any consideration at all?

СанСаныч Фоменко:
And if on the merits of the article, at least once without anti-Soviet stele? Or does anti-Sovietism rob you of any consideration at all?

The essence of the article is that both the amount of solar energy per square metre and the efficiency of modern solar panels are underestimated. And there is no mention of the fact that the efficiency is increasing and the limit has not been reached at all. I have not read further.

And most importantly - it's all nonsense because no one ever said that the entire energy industry must be converted to alternative sources. All talk about raising the share. And thermonuclear is being developed by all.

A very interesting and instructive series of synonyms.

In Tsarist Russia it was reprehensible to be rich, to desire wealth and that whole series of synonyms. It was a Christian position that it was much harder for the rich to get into the kingdom of heaven than for the rest of us.

Nevertheless, in Russia material prosperity was desired, aspired to... but aspired to prosperity. It would seem to be a synonym to the word "wealth", but no. The meaning of the word "prosperity" implies a goal for which money, wealth is necessary. People were limited in their pursuit of material wealth by the life goals they had set for themselves. This is at the root of the fact that private money was used to build churches, monasteries, hospitals, schools, homes for the poor... The meaning of life was not only the accumulation of material goods, but something else, immaterial.

Affluence is when the income is faster than the wife's :)

A wife will make you a millionaire if you were a billionaire. The remedy for an extra cabbage).

Propaganda to bait suckers, so that people do not gain their independence, but depend on their master. A peasant is not allowed to have a farm, a peasant must work for his master.

The principle of rational sufficiency must be fundamental if mankind wants to live a long time on earth.

khorosh:
The principle of rational sufficiency must be fundamental if mankind wants to live on earth for a long time.

This does not invalidate the concept that some people have a lot and others have not enough. If you distribute it all, it will be reasonable sufficiency, or something a little like that (I am not talking about taking everything and dividing it)). When everybody has a surplus, that's a mess. But in fact it is not so. Some have a surplus, and others have huge disadvantages. And those few who, deciding whom to bring a little closer (not even half as much) to affluence and whom much further away, redistribute thereby the balance of sufficiency between the minority and the majority.

While instilling in the rest the false notion that scarcity is normal. And when those in surplus begin to behave in a very brazen way, a revolution takes place.

And if we are talking about what and for whom it is enough, moreover, mixing psychology, then everything is blurred here.

That to one it is enough to live in a hut, in it he has a rush, and the other has exactly the same rush from realization of a desire to fly on the moon. For one it is enough for one, for another it is enough for many times more. Why one wants one thing and the other another is another question.
