Newbie alert!!!!! Importing data to MT5 doesn't work.

Sorry if this is not the correct place for this guys, but I have a question about how MT5 works. I'm just beginning to test it and things are not going as expected. I created a custom symbol and then imported data from another broker in order to do some backtesting. I followed the steps detailed here: https://www.metaquotes.net/en/metatrader5/news/5028 I didn't want to overwrite data from the original symbol, this is why I created a custom one. Problem is that nothing is seen whe I open the chart. The 'Waiting for...' message is the only thing shown. Could someone give me a hint, please?

It's a very big file (16 Gb) of tick data for gold, period 2003-2019.
