Look at all these atmospheric optics happening this afternoon! Incredible. Brightest 46° halo I've seen. This was a panorama (which is why the contrail is curved). What else do you see here?

Wednesday night's moonrise behind One World Trade Center photographed from very, very far away through a fairly dense haze. In fact I had some doubt whether the moon would shine through the haziness, but fortunately it made it's appearance. The reason the moon appears so big is something called "forced perspective".
