Whenever you open up a chart, the "Ebb & Flow" nature of the market is always present right before your eyes.
This is especially true for EURUSD due its underlying fundamental nature of this pair, be it a ranging or a trending market.
Market never flows in a straight line as you can see from the chart, it either ranges, consolidates, retraces, or reverses constantly - a natural daily phenomenon.

And the troopers work hand in hand with the existing Pips Averaging Mathematical Algorithm (P.A.M.A.), in averaging out trade positions as a basket where necessary.
With this, you'll expect higher profitability, higher trade volume, as well as higher trade frequency.
Do note that these price action troopers are not bounded by the time filter, so basically it can enter the market any time upon detection of any of the above candlesticks patterns.

Proper Lot Sizing is the KEY to Recovery
First of all, I'll like to start with a very important reminder: please DO NOT manually change the default lot size values in Grid Hero EA.
All the default lot size values in the EA are there for a reason and each lot size value is an essential part of Grid Hero's winning formula.
These values are obtained thru careful stress and optimization tests and hence it is very important to leave all the lot size values as default.
If you want to enable the Auto Lot Sizing feature, simply apply the V8.0 Auto Lot Set files according to your preferred risk level (Standard/Medium/High). You can download the Set files from the Comments section or the FAQ.
Do not attempt to manually adjust the auto lot values because Grid Hero's auto lot mechanism is pretty sophisticated, and incorrect setting will have adverse effect on the strategy.
Now let's talk about lot sizing...
Many traders have this perception that the most important thing in an EA is the Mechanical Strategy itself, basically the technical rules in market entry and exit.
But many have overlooked the importance of the art of lot sizing. Proper Lot Sizing is actually equally important as the mechanical strategy. Yes, EQUALLY IMPORTANT.
You can have a strategy that has a low probability of predicting the correct market direction, but with proper lot sizing you can recover a negative PnL into net profit.

Why H1 time frame?
As I've previously explained why we only need EURUSD, now I will elaborate on why H1 is the best time frame for Grid Hero:
- H1 candles are always consistent regardless of the broker's time zone. They are unlike H4 and Daily candles which can be different due to different broker's time zones.
- Due to that H1 candles are not affected by time zones, the candlestick patterns are more consistent across brokers and hence more reliable since all traders are looking at similar patterns (if not exactly the same).
- H1 is the most well balanced time frame in striking a good balance between the 'noisy' lower time frames and the higher time frame which are usually perceived as less noisy and the more reliable time frames.
- H1 usually provides higher trade frequency with lesser noise, it is like that 'neutral point' between the lower and higher time frames.
- H1 is often perceived as the most commonly studied time frame from retail traders to the big players, and hence very reliable for price action analysis.
- And last but not least, have you ever wonder why the default time frame on MT4 is H1? :)
