Line to Symbol Stick

With the Line to Symbol Stick indicator you can create clean line analyses for multiple symbols in the same chart window. The indicator keeps all chart analyses clean, without lines from other symbols through it.

It is designed to be combined with the Symbol Scroller indicator.


How to use

  1. Attach the indicator to the chart. The label ‘L-S’ will appear in the top middle of the chart to indicate that the tool is working in the background.
  2. Place a horizontal line or a trendline in the chart using the default buttons in the toolbar of the Metatrader terminal.
  3. The indicator does the rest.

The Line to Symbol Stick indicator is able to recognize:

  • Line width
  • Line color
  • Line style
  • Object as background
  • Ray (for trendline)

 

Note:

If the indicator is removed from the chart, then all line analyses created with it are removed as well. However, you can get these back if you re-attach the indicator to the same chart.  

The indicator currently only recognizes the default horizontal lines and trendlines from Metatrader, any other lines will remain untouched by it.  

Important to note: Upon attachment to the chart the indicator will process the default lines that are already in the chart as well. So when the indicator is removed againthese lines will be removed too.
