Triangle Chameleon

Triangle Pattern sind Chart-Formationen, die einen möglichen Breakout in eine der beiden Richtungen signalisieren. Im Falle von symmetrischen Triangles beträgt die Wahrscheinlichkeit für einen Ausbruch nach oben oder unten ca. 50 %. Bezüglich weiterer detaillierter Informationen empfehle ich die zahlreichen Publikationen im Internet zu diesem Thema.

Das besondere dieses Indikators ist, dass er in eigene MT5-Applikationen, wie Scripte, Expert Advisers usw. durch die implementierten Indicator-Buffer über die iCustom()-Funktion eingebunden werden kann. Damit ist es möglich, die Bestimmung der Punkte p3 und p4 für jedes Handels-Instrument und Timeframes zu optimieren. Dadurch entfällt ein langwiriges manuelles Trial-and-Error zur Bestimmung der korrekten Werte. Einen einfachen Expert Adviser als Beispiel und zur Optimierung ist kostenlos verfügbar.

Der unten gezeigte Backtest umfasst einen Zeitraum von Januar 2020 bis Mai 2022 für EURUSD und ist nur als Beispiel für die Effizienz von symmetrischen Triangles zu verstehen. Ergebnisse können je nach Broker und Konto-Typ erheblich abweichen. Bei der Entwicklung eines optimal profitablen Handels-Systems sollten weitere Indikatoren mit einbezogen werden!

Thank you for your review and the comment to the bug. Actually the indicator became removed but its graphical objects had been left on the chart. With the current version V1.15 it was fixed.
