Советник мой, открывает сигналы по вашему индикатору TREND LINE PRO MT4, сигналы беру с буферов которые вы указали в самом индикаторе, но вот поменять амплитуду у этого индикатора и прописать эту амплитуду в советнике нельзя.

Вот на снимке сигнал в бай, сигнал самого индикатора, т.е. его линия короткая чтоб ордер закрылся при нужных пунктах.

Нет, так не получается, работает только параметр 12 который прописан в советнике, если даже изменить настройки индикатора на самом графике и включить советник с использованием этого индикатора. Не зря же пишут когда используешь индикатор с открытым кодом то в советник надо прописать его параметры иначе работать не будет так как хочешь) Решение этому простое - вы только можете изменить, просто вы дали с конкретными параметрами которые будут использованы неизменно, если строить свой советник по вашему индикатору.

Чтобы ввести параметр амплитуды в советник, нужно открыть индикатор и скопировать оттуда этот параметр и вставить его в iCustom, а так как открытого кода нет, то советник будет брать все параметры с индикатора, которые уже прописаны в нем. Вот так будет работать. Вы же все это знаете) В самом советнике прописан только путь к индикатору и его буфера, больше нет данных. Поэтому получается что на 15 минутном графике рисуются большие промежутки у индикатора между сигналами, тогда как если бы была амплитуда допустим 3, то было бы больше сигналов для открытия небольшой сетки, которая бы быстрее закрывалась, а тут при параметре 12 все очень долго тянется вплоть до слива.

I am trying to use your indicator in my EA. I use buffers and they work great. My only question is: how can I change the parameters of your indicator when I use it in my EA? Is it possible or only the default settings work in this case. 

The thing is that when I attach the indicator to the chart manually, a table with settings appears and I can change everything. 

How to change these settings using iCustom and buffers? Is this possible?

I found the blog post, but I still have questions. When I run the Optimizer nothing happens, I'm also trying to see if there's a way to run the optimizer for a certain time frame so I can do forward testing and backtesting. Is there a Discord group or anything?

Got the optimizer to work. I'm trying to backtest 5 years, then forward test 2 years.

In the EURUSD_H1 set file I put 2015-2020 years, but if I say calculation days = 300, does that just take 300 days? So really only testing a year?

How can I forward test using the indicator/optimizer?

Also, would love to connect with anyone that has some experience with tweaking setting so I can learn and do this for other pairs.
