maybe the concept behind the task I wanted to get done is new - at least I havn't heard about something similar.
What I'm looking for is a price-normalized candelstick chart-window in which I can apply Indicators and EA's.
A prized-normalized chart should plot the candels in the following way:
if "entry price" is selected, the entry-price of each candel is set to zero and the other prices are min price-entry price, max price -entry price & close price - entry price
-> similar for selection is "close- price", "min-price", "max - price"
So a price-normalized chart is different form range bars, renko-bars, equi-time bars or equi-volume bars which will give clearer interpretation on non-price indicators like candelpatterns etc.
A seconde type of price-normailiziation is a normalization against a Moving Average.
If "MA" is for e.g. set to "20" and "price" is selected as "close" then from all prices (enty, close, min, max) the MA(20,close)-price ist substracted. If you apply "Bollinger Bands" on such a chart with MA(20) the Bollinger MA should be a straight line. That would be very interesting to me, because I trade Bollinger-Patterns but the changing inclination of the MA is distubing.
